There was some research done recently showing that the senior management at Google are somewhat light users of their new social networking site Google+.
Suffice to say this isn’t a good advert for their commitment to Google+. If they’re not using it, why should anyone else? Do senior managers need to use the service their company supplies?
One could certainly argue that it would give them a much better understanding of both the problem their product is solving, and of course how well it goes towards doing that.
Do senior managers need to use the services they’re selling?
Yes! Assuming it is appropriate to them. The killer would be using products/services from competitors. As a senior manager you’ve got to believe and lead by example.
I see that Schmidt has signed up for an account now. I wonder how much content his PA will put up for him?
