For the 2nd in this series of social business related lectures to enjoy this Christmas, I’m turning attention towards systems thinking and complexity. I’m very much of the opinion that social business can only really occur if you look at things systemically, and look at the business as a whole to see how social behaviours can be encouraged.
So this video, featuring David Aron, looks at the role systems thinking and complexity theory impacts how our organisations are managed. Being a physician, the talk focuses primarily on healthcare, but the lessons apply across industries I think.
