New app aims to help us capture more of our thoughts

myle-tapIn days of yore, many of the foremost innovators would chronicle and record their thoughts in a humble notebook to ensure that no potential connections went astray.  As mobile devices have become a more pervasive part of our lives, this task has typically been performed digitally with services such as Evernote offering us tools to jot down our musings.

A new tool off the block is Myle Tap, which aims to make the process of capturing our thoughts as easy as possible by making it voice powered.

The service allows us to verbally record our thoughts, and the app will then convert each message into a usable text based form for us to then do with as we please.

The process itself is very straightforward, with the app activated via a touch based wearable device that clips onto your clothing and syncs up with your phone via Bluetooth.

Whenever you have a thought, you simply tap the device and speak your musing directly into it.  Myle Tap will then record the message and document it for your later perusal.

The system works with a range of existing apps so you can capture your brainwaves even when engaged in other things.  If you’re on the road, for instance, there’s no reason to stop innovating.

In addition to capturing your thoughts, the service can work with other functions such as maintaining your diary, sending text messages or even communicating with an array of other IoT devices.

The service is currently raising funds on Indiegogo, and for $79 you get to pre-order the device whilst also making a $10 donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.

  1. Interesting idea. The problem remains making sense of it all though. That's always been the main challenge I find.
